April 5 1874 Easter Sunday Joseph Gouldthorpe Catshaw was married to Lydia Wagstaff (her husband in answer to r Wilby said her father was Jonathan Boldthorpe) of Saville House, Thurlstone. He 24 and she 22 years of age.

July 2 1891 Thos B Woodhead to Elizh Micklethwaite

Samuel Marsh, Cubley, Nr Penistone, one of the Deacons of the Church, he departed this life Jany 27 1849, after an illness of ten days. His mind owing to the severity of his disease was in a wandering state during the greater part of the time so that nothing can be stated as to his hope or his fears.

But he was a good man. His life was one of simple reliance on the Lord Jesus Christ, and doubtless he has entered into his life (last two words hard to read)

He was interred on Monday Jany 29^th 1849 Deeply Regretted.

Above wife’s death on next page;

Alice widow of Samuel March, deacon. She died after a weekness of 4 days. Her life was blameless and harmless a child of God without rebuke. She was interred on Wednesday July 4^th 1849 aged 61 years

Mary Dalton (widow 53) Thurlstone was interred this 7^th of any 1869.

559 Benjamin Fallas of Penistone shoemaker and Deacon at the Church for many years and one of the two Superintendants of the S. School who died of apoplexy after 32 hours of unconsciousness on Friday morning August 20^th 1880 aged 60 years. Was interred at the front of Mr Joshua March’s family vault Sunday morning August 22 1880, the Anniversary of Netherfield S. School by J Bonser BA of Rawmarsh. He was a consistent somewhat taciturn Christian. He was a steadfast worker in the 20^th viney (?) and unostentatious support of his cause. Peace to his dust. J Williams

Received 20/- fees Oct 25 1886. Gave the above in addition to 2£ voted by the committee to compensate grumblers that the Green School* harmonian was sent to Netherfield Mr Smith entrusted to make the matter straight MW
