JAMES EDWARD GASH 1846-18??

James Gash was baptised at Kirton-in-Holland, Lincolnshire as follows - son of David and Elizabeth Gash.  His brother, William Gash, was my Great Grandfather. I found the following entry in Kirton Parish Records:

James was 4 at the time of the 1851 Census living in Kirton-in-Holland, Lincolnshire with his parents

1871 Census - James was then living at Church End, Sibsey with his sister Lucy:

David and Elizabeth's son James Edward Gash appears in the 1881 Census living in Church Road, Sibsey.  The following table gives the details, showing he had married and there were 5 children:

James Gash married Avice Dales in 1871 - Registered July quarter at Boston, Volume 7a page 593.

* James E. Gash, age 16 was the son of John and Susan Gash - and the nephew of his employer.
