ILKESTON, DBY REGISTERS 1785 to 1904

 

I have to stress that in places this film was extremely difficult to read and therefore please recognise that I may have transcribed incorrectly.  Where there’s doubt, I have put a query.  In some instances the year date may be wrong, i.e. 1789 could be 1788 or vice versa due to difficulties in reading and the custom of the years being Lady Day to Lady Day in the following year. Please use a guide and check the original records if in doubt.

 

In some instances I differ with the dates on the IGI - so you need to check and make up your own mind which version is correct. I have transcribed the marriages on a separate file, only baptisms and burials are included here:
